Survey Tracker UX/UI Redesign

Enhancing user experience for a survey tracking app through usability improvements and user feedback integration.

Overview

This project focused on improving the user experience of an internal survey tracking application used by multiple departments. The goal was to make it more user-friendly, visually structured, and efficient based on direct user feedback.

My role included user research and feedback analysis to create a new UX/UI design. I designed wireframes and a prototype, based on the collected feedback, on Microsoft PowerApps.

Problem & Solution

The existing survey tracking app was difficult to navigate, causing inefficiencies in how departments monitored their feedback. Users faced:

  • A cluttered interface with unclear navigation
  • A lack of structured homescreen
  • Difficulty in tracking survey responses

The redesign focused on:

  • Simplifying navigation for easier access to surveys
  • Improving data visualization for quick insights
  • Enhancing user experience with a clean and intuitive interface

Wireframes & Design Process

The initial application had usability challenges, making it difficult for teams to track survey results efficiently. My goal was to enhance clarity, navigation, and overall user experience. Using insights from user feedback, I designed a more streamlined interface. I added a new look into the app preserving brand identity colors and shapes, by adding a new home page. Moreover, I included a new page designed to receive feedback from the users for further improvements. The wireframes focused on improving accessibility, ensuring that key data was easy to find and interact with.

The final UI was developed with a clean, user-friendly layout that allows different departments to track survey results effortlessly. The design was built in Figma based on brand identity.

Key Takeaways & Impact

After refining the UI based on direct feedback, user engagement improved, and survey tracking became more intuitive, reducing the time spent searching for data. This experience enhanced my skills in UX research and iterative design.
